In partnership with AB-BIOTICS, Nouri recently launched a novel probiotic formulation to provide a preventive, all-natural solution to pregnancies for dysbiosis related risks. With the launch of this innovative prenatal health product, Nouri is continuing to broaden its microbiome science-based solutions in the US market using AB-BIOTICS patented strains.

Pregnancy is a physiological state with drastic changes in the composition of the gut microbiota. Sex hormones, the immune system, metabolism and diet change dramatically and play a major role in the gut microbiota. The gut microbiome is a critical component of an individual’s metabolism and overall health. Dysbiosis in pregnant women is related to a variety of diseases and conditions, including pregnancy-specific gastrointestinal diseases, such as pulminary embolism, intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, hyperemesis gravidarum, and constipation as well as long-term health sequelae for mother and child according to a study-

Nouri Prenatal Health contains a unique blend of four AB-BIOTICS probiotic strains:

P. acidilactici KABP™ 021, L. plantarum KABP™ 022, L. plantarum KABP™ 023 and B. longum KABP™ 042, with added vitamin B6 and plant-based omega oil. By combining several probiotic strains with vitamin B6 and omega oil to promote digestive, immunological, and brain health during pregnancy, the new product complements the company’s current range of probiotics, which also includes Digestive Health, Women’s Health, and Weight Health.

These strains have undergone extensive research for the relief of gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms including bloating, pain, and diarrhea and have shown to improve overall quality of life as indicated by sleep, energy, emotional well-being, mental well-being, and other factors.
